Supervisor Letter of Support

Supervisor Letter of Support is required with registration for unlicensed clinicians who wish to participate in EMDR Training. This letter must include (1) a sentence indicating legal responsibility for the work of the training participant and (2) a statement indicating the current professional status of the participant and verification that the participant is on a track towards licensure or certification in his/her field of practice. The letter must be signed by the supervisor who is legally responsible for the participant.

Who may attend:

EMDR training is open to mental health professionals who are licensed (or certified or registered) by their state for independent practice. The training is also open to advanced graduate students, interns, and other mental health professionals on a licensure track, with a letter of support from their supervisor. The ClearPath office or the EMDR Association can answer you questions regarding eligibility for training.
